COEUR D'ALENE, IDAHO OCTOBER 24, 2005 NightHawk Radiology Holdings, Inc., the parent company to NightHawk Radiology Services, LLC, today announced the acquisition of American Teleradiology Nighthawks, Inc., a Virginia-based provider of overnight and off-hours teleradiology services. The acquisition allows NightHawk to increase its customer base by acquiring contracts previously held by American Teleradiology.
NightHawk, headquartered in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, provides nighttime and weekend emergency radiology services to radiology groups and hospitals across the United States. NightHawk's team of American Board of Radiology-certified, U.S. state-licensed and hospital-privileged affiliated radiologists uses its proprietary workflow technology to provide radiological interpretations to customers in the United States primarily from centralized reading facilities located in Sydney, Australia and Zurich, Switzerland.
